Nauvoo man arrested in the woods

NAUVOO, ILL. -- A Nauvoo man tried to hide his meth lab in a camouflaged backpack, but Hancock County deputies found it anyway.

Deputies on patrol saw a man in a wooded area outside of Nauvoo Friday afternoon.

They arrested 24-year-old Joshua Stark after looking inside the backpack.

It contained items used in the manufacturing of meth.

Stark is being held in the Hancock County jail.

Nauvoo Police asisted the Hancock County Sheriff's Office in the investigation.
