Taking pictures at the Quincy mall
QUINCY, ILL. -- They say every dog has its day, but all pets can have their day with Santa.
For the past few weeks Santa has been taking pictures with kids at the Quincy Mall.
And every Tuesday he gives pets a chance to sit on Santa's lap.
Whether their hoping for Xbox's and Wii's or rawhides and chew toys, every child, pet, owner and parent leave with a keepsake and a hopefully fond memory.
Tuesday, December 14th was a bit of a slow one for Santa, but he says he has been quite busy.
"Well the animals don't around a whole lot, but I would rather have the kids because you just don't know what they're going to say or do. They are the neatest kids and they are all just super fantastic," said Santa. "The biggest animal I had was a couple of German Shepherds last year. The owners just told them to sit still and they just sat right in front of me and it was great. It was no problem at all."
