Charges upgraded in Lewistown fatality case

LEWISTOWN, MO. -- The man who was driving the car that crashed in Lewis County last month killing a Highland High School student is now being charged with involuntary manslaughter.

18-year-old Mont Corbin was originally charged with second degree assault, but the charges were upgraded following the death of Sheyenna Sigler.

Sigler was sent by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital following the rollover crash which happened near Lewistown, Missouri off State Highway H just before 9:00 p.m. on November 28.

Corbin remains in the Lewis County Jail on a 20,000 cash only bond.
