New owner to develop land around Spring Lake Estates

QUINCY, ILL. -- More houses could be coming to an area just west of Spring Lake Estates on the northside of Quincy.

After negotiating a deal with the landowner, Adam Booth has purchased about 40 acres west of the current Spring Lake Estates subdivision.

The idea is to develop the parcel of land in three phases, with the first phases being for about 15 lots.
