If you get stranded in a storm be careful to follow some winter safety rules.

With slick condition and snow, its possible your car could end up in a ditch.

Road crews and emergency personnel might have a difficult time getting to you which means you could be in your car for awhile.

If that does happen, pay attention, running your car to stay warm just might harm you.

"If you become stranded make sure your car is running only just for a short time. While you warm up and then shut it off.

Carbon dioxide poisoning is a danger, and if you leave your car engine running it could happen to you.
