QUINCY, ILL. -- The SIU Quincy Family Practice received two award of excellence.
The awards were presented by Your Healthcare Plus program for quality medical care in both diabetes and coronary artery disease.
Quincy's SIU family practice is one of the first in the state to be recognized.
Doctor Tom Miller associate professor and director of the center says this is a great accomplishment.
Miller strongly emphasized that it's a community award and its more than 3,200 patients that visit the center annually are their unsung heros.
