QUINCY, ILL. -- Update: Bands took to the stage in Quincy this weekend evening to help raise money for childhood cancer.

It was the second year of the "Leaps of Love" concert benefit.

Fourteen bands played at Turner Hall Saturday and Sunday.

They're helping raise money for families affected by childhood cancer.

This weekend, the bands helped raise $2,244. Last year's benefit raised more than $1,800.

Leaps of Love has been helping families since 1992.
