Guilty pleas in federal drug charges

ST. LOUIS, MO. -- The United States Attorney’s Office announced that five people have entered guilty pleas to a drug conspiracy involving their activities between January 2007 and April 2010 in Lewis and Knox Counties.  One co-defendant also pleaded guilty to a weapons charge.  

Michael Kramer, 38, of LaBelle, Mo.; Kimberly Ingalls, 40, of Quincy, Ill.; and William Ingalls, 49, also of Quincy, Ill. pled guilty Friday.

Robert Mauck, 42, of Knox City, Mo, and Nathan Allen, 29, of LaBelle, Mo. entered their guilty pleas earlier last week.

Robert Mauck pled guilty to one felony count of conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and one felony count of being a previously convicted felon in possession of ammunition.

The other four defendants pled guilty to one felony count each of conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

Each count of conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and/or fines up to $250,000.  Sentencings have been set for March 23, 2011.

This case was investigated by the Lewis and Knox County Sheriff’s Departments, the Northeast Missouri Drug Task Force, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, U.S. Marshal’s Service, the Quincy Illinois Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Illinois State Police.  Assistant United States Attorney Noelle Collins is handing the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
