Owner of Detox reportedly left the country after not paying bills
MACOMB, ILL. -- A Macomb nightclub has been shutdown after the owner reportedly left the country
The city closed Detox nightclub on North Lafayette Street after owner Ransey Vazquez failed to pay his bills.
Mayor Mick Wisslead says the owner also skipped town still owing money to his liquor distributors.
Wisslead say the city would like to have access to the Detox building to reclaim the alcohol.
Should Vazquez return to Macomb, Wisslead said he would be served with papers officially revoking his liquor license.
