QUINCY, ILL. -- If you live on the south side of Quincy, you might have smelled what you thought was rotten eggs or a sulfur smell or even what many people thought was natural gas.
Fire crews checked the area this afternoon and the sensors firefighters carry with them never registered for natural gas.
At this time, the event still remains under investigation.
