COLUMBIA, MO. -- A journalist strives to be un-biased.

But I can't hide mine ... I'm a Mizzou Tiger fan!

I got my master's degree from the Missouri School of Journalism and my husband went to school there, too.

This past weekend at the men's basketball game against Iowa State, I sang the national anthem.

I've been doing this for about 10 years, but this year I made sure to take an amateur videographer to give you an inside peek, or listen in this case.

You're going to love the video because it shows me warming up my voice and even using the pitch-pipe app on my phone before I start singing!

It's always a privilege for me to honor our country, our flag and our soldiers....even if only for a minute.

In case you missed the game Saturday night, the Missouri Tigers beat the Iowa State Cyclones 87 to 54.
