QUINCY, ILL. -- The city of Quincy has not declared a snow emergency since 1999.

And the mayor of Quincy says he's not ready to declare one right now.

But he does offer some advice for people who live and work along those routes.

Plan ahead! Quincy Mayor John Spring encourages you to get a game plan ready.

Find a place now, to put your car when the snow does hit.

You will only have a few hours to move your car if a snow emergency is declared.

The city of Quincy has changed garbage route pick-up locations from now until February 14th.

Garbage will be picked up curb side only, not in alleys.

Also, don't forget that Cape Air has cancelled all flights in and out of Quincy on Monday and Tuesday.

This storm is set to impact many airports.
