PALMYRA, MO. -- Cell phones can be a weapon of mass destruction, that's the message from Teens of America.

Teens of America is a group that discusses thinks like suicide, substance abuse and dangerous texting with teenagers all over the country.

They made a stop at Palmyra High School Monday, February 7th for a rally to take a stand against dangerous texting.

Teens got some shocking statistics and heard real life stories of people affected by texting while driving and sexting.

"That was their choice to text and drive, that's your choice to drink and drive, but the consequence, whether you die or whether you hurt somebody or kill somebody, that consequence does not belong to you. So I can't emphasize that more that every choice has a consequence," said Sean Mulroney with Teens of America.
