HANNIBAL, MO. -- UPDATED: February 11 at 1:30 p.m.
The investigation into the robbery of Commerce Bank continues by the Hannibal Police Department.
Officers of the Criminal Investigations Division are viewing surveillance video of businesses in the area, contacting possible witnesses and following up on all viable leads.

UPDATED: February 10 at 4:54 p.m.
Hannibal officers were called at 2:35 p.m. Thursday to the Commerce Bank located at 100 Huck Finn concerning a robbery.
A suspect described as a white male between 40 to 50 years of age approximately 5’8” and 5’10” with a stocky build wearing a stocking cap, a red plaid flannel shirt and glasses presented one of the bank clerks with a note declaring it was a robbery.
Once the suspect acquired some of the bank’s funds he left the bank and was last seen walking west up toward the shopping center.
No one was reported injured during the incident and nor were any weapons displayed.

KHQA's Rajah Maples has now learned that the suspect showed a note, but did not have any weapons.
They're investigating snow tracks in the area and are checking to see if other bank robberies in Eastern and Northern Missouri could be connected.
No one hurt in the incident.

KHQA has just learned of a bank robbery at the Commerce Bank in Hannibal, Mo.
Commerce Bank is located in the Huck Finn Shopping Center.
The hooded suspect was last seen on foot headed toward the Kroger area.
We have an unconfirmed description that the suspect is a white male wearing a red flannel quilted jacket with a grey hood and stocking cap underneath, prescription glasses and was carring money in a small plastic garbage bag.
It was stated that the suspect is unarmed.
Detectives are on the way to the scene.
