Quincy man faces multiple charges

QUINCY, ILL. -- A check on a suspicious vehicle led to the arrest of a Quincy man Wednesday night.

Deputies with the Adams County sheriff's office stopped a vehicle near  9th and Lind.  

That's when the driver James Walker jumped out and ran away into the Quincy Housing Projects.

Deputies pursued walker and eventually found him inside of an apartment.

He was taken into custody and faces multiple charges including: fleeing and attempting to allude, Aggravated DUI, resisting arrest and  revoked drivers license and failure to appear warrants for  threatening a public official , delivery of cannabis and criminal trespass
