HARDIN COUNTY, KY. -- A fourth trial for murder defendant Brent Burke, formerly of Ursa will begin next month with a new judge and new defense attorneys.

The News Enterprise newspaper reports the re-trial of Burke for the 2007 killings of his estranged wife and her former mother-in-law will be March 14th in Kentucky.

Burke has been in the Hardin County Detention Center since October 2007.

His bond was lowered from $2 million to $1 million in October.

Juries were selected to hear the case against Burke on two occasions in 2009, but both attempts ended in mistrial after witnesses failed to appear in court.

A third trial in 2010 also ended in mistrial after jurors failed to reach a unanimous verdict.
