HANNIBAL, MO. -- A sprinkler system helped control a fire at the Buckhorn Rubber building in Hannibal Thursday.

The fire call came in just before noon. When fire crews arrived, several safety measures had taken place at the plant to contain the fire.

The fire occurred in the company's paint facility inside the building. The sprinkler system had the fire contained to that room when the fire department arrived.

Fire crews were on the scene for about an hour and a half. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
