LEWISTOWN, MO. -- A Kirksville, Missouri woman has been arrested for burglarizing a Lewis County senior housing complex.

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office arrested 23 year old Diane Thompson yesterday on two counts of Burglary in the First Degree.

This arrest came after reports of thefts made by several tenants at the Lewistown Senior Housing Complex in Lewistown, Missouri.

Thompson is alleged to have knocked on the tenants door asking to use the restroom.

Once she left the apartment the occupants discovered small amounts of money missing.

She currently is under the supervision of the Missouri Board of Probation of Parole and now is being held in the Lewis County Jail.
