QUINCY, ILL. -- John Wood Community College trustees have approved an agreement with Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing to deliver a newly designed associate degree in nursing program.

The consortium arrangement is the first of its kind in the state and will likely be used as a model for other schools to follow for its innovative use of resources.

Students currently enrolled in JWCC's practical nurse program selected for the new ADN program can begin in the fall of 2011.
