SHELBINA, MO. -- Shelby county businesses and products will be highlighted this weekend.
Saturday morning the second annual Show Me Shelby County Business Expo will take over the Father Buhman Center in Shelbina.
More 60 vendors from all over the county are expected to show off their wares to hundreds passing through the expo.
Organizer Pat Greenwell says the purpose of the event is to let people know about the wide variety of local businesses available, so business won't leave the area.
Greenwell said, "These businesses will employ people and pay taxes and grow the economy, because the economy is not good right now."
Proceeds from booth rentals will be donated to the North and South Shelby School districts.
The business expo runs from 9a.m. Saturday until one in the afternoon.
It's free to the public.
Last year's show drew in more than 700 people.
