Early morning fire destroys Bushnell restaurant

BUSHNELL, ILL. -- The Illinois State Fire Marshal's office has been called in to investigate an early morning fire in Bushnell.
Firefighters from four departments were called in for mutual aid for a fire at Brickhouse Restaurant at 455 W. Maine Street.
The restaurant is a total loss, and buildings on both the north and south sides of the street sustained smoke damage.
Fire departments were called at 2:18 a.m. and they were able to extinguish the fire by 5 a.m.
No one was injured and no cause has yet been determined.
The Brickhouse Restaurant just opened in October of 2010.
