MCDONOUGH CO., ILL. -- Authorities made a crack cocaine arrest after following a man from Chicago to Macomb on Amtrak.

McDonough County Sheriff Rick VanBrooker reports that information from Crimestoppers, and cooperation from Amtrak officials lead to the arrest.

Investigators confirmed 28-year-old Devon Harris would depart the train at Macomb.

Detectives followed him to Chandler Park where they say he threw a bag into a trash can.

Police searched the bag and found 24 grams of crack ready for delivery along side a sandwich.

Harris is charged with manufacture, possession and delivery of a controlled substance.
