Quincy Gold Medal Moves is getting national attention.

Production staff from the Biggest Loser reality show choose the group for its Pound for Pound segment.

Brenda Turmbaugh is the reason the show came, she is an online pound for pound success story, loosing 114 pounds.

The Biggest Loser asked her to start a community  pound for pound challenge which became the popular Gold Medal Moves, partnering with Quincy Medical Group.

Getting the community healthy was the goal, but being part of a TV reality show was a surprise.

"I was shocked that the Biggest Loser was coming to Quincy," said Turmbaugh, "It's our community doing this together, we are 8th in the county for a reason and the Biggest Loser is here to celebrate that together."

After a work out session Tuesday morning the group then packed a basket for the Salvation Army.

You can see Quincy's Pound for Pound Tuesday night at 7 on NBC.
