WARNING GROSS PHOTO: One Tri-States woman found something very gross in her peas at lunch

PITTSFIELD, ILL. -- KHQA got a very interesting and disturbing email Thursday afternoon.

One of our viewers was eating her lunch and found what she describes as a worm or maggot in her peas.

They were leftovers from her supper the night before.

She purchased the Lesueur Very Young Small Sweet Peas at the Pittsfield Walmart Wednesday.

There are no known recalls on this brand of peas.

We talked with Carl Largent, store manager of the Walmart in Pittsfield, and he says if you've found anything like this yourself, you can do one of the following.  You can take the can back to the Walmart, or you can call the 800 number at Walmart and file an incident report.  That number is 1-800-925-6278.

We will follow this story and will bring you updates if any are made available.
