If you've ever wanted to learn how to play the guitar, a new store in Quincy is dedicated to helping you make that dream come true.
Second String Music is at the corner of 8th and Washington street in Quincy.
Owners Rodney Hart and Sheryl Collins opened the store about a month ago after their friend and the owner of Vegas Music passed away.
Hart says that he wants the store to become a home for local musicians.
Second String is a guitar based store that carries a wide array a stringed instruments and all the accessories you will need.
Personalized service is top priority at Second String Music.
Hart says, "We're gonna talk to you . We're gonna find out what instrument you have, what your particular style and like is ... Everybody is looking for something different. Everybody has a different style and is looking for something different. We'll treat you like the King and Queen when you come in. We'll take care of you both before, during and after the sale as well."
And if you've ever wanted to learn how to play the guitar the store offers lessons on weekdays and Saturdays.
Rodney says that he is proud to be a part of the neighborhood and the Quincy business community.
Hart says, " We want to be a part of the Caf-town. Oh yeah, Second String Music I know where that is at 8th and Washington ... We're gonna be sponsoring Blues in the District. We're gonna get involved."
