Registration open for Camp Sacajawea
QUINCY, ILL. -- Summer is almost here and that means kids are going to need things to keep busy.
This year, the YMCA is offering a new outdoor camp called Camp Sacajawea.
Kids will learn songs, walk trails, build forts, and catch fish.
It's for kids in second through sixth grade for a week.
But this isn't the only program the Y will be offering this summer.
"We've been doing day camp and teen camp for a very long time. It fills that need for parents for parents who need some sort of day care in the summer who want their kids to do something more than sit at home all day," said Youth and Family Program Director Kathryn McDaniel.
