Burlington, Iowa watching water levels

BURLINGTON, IOWA -- The city of Burlington, Iowa is keeping an eye on the Mississippi River as the level continues to inch upward.

As of Monday morning, April 18th, the level was at 18 feet.

The technical flood stage is 15 feet.

The National Weather Service predicts the river will crest on Saturday, April 23rd at 19.5 feet.
