The area includes woodlands, prarie grass and several miles of nature trails.

Horn Field Campus is a unit of Western Illinois University's College of Education and Human Services and administered by the WIU Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration.

You can learn how to climb the high ropes course, or its 40-foot climbing and rappelling tower on Sunday, May 7 from 1-4 p.m.

The cost for the high ropes course is $10 and cost for the climbing tower is $5 ($15 for both). Equipment and instruction are included in the fee. (Climbers age 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.)
