HANNIBAL, MO. -- The storms last week left some Hannibal residents clammoring to get into the auto body shops in town.

It's to be expected, as we had many, many photos submitted to our Facebook page and to uConnect.

One auto body shop says its seen close to 200 cars already...and more are on the way. Heartland Auto Body owner Jason Krigbaum says his shop started getting calls within 20 minutes after the storm. Most vehicles outside at the time were hit with significant amounts of damage.

"They vary depending on which part of town you were in, mainly downtown got hit the worse from what you can see. Some range from $1,000 to $1,500 in damage, others $4,000 in damage. Some had golf ball size hail in certain areas," said Krigbaum.

Krigbaum says most cars can be fixed within a days time.

We want to hear from you, too.  Did your car sustain hail damage?  Post your story below or visit our Facebook page.
