Update: Cavemen owners head back to the courtroom over defaulted loan.

HANNIBAL, MO. -- UPDATED: November 9 at 9:43 a.m.

According to case.net, former co-owner of the Hannibal Cavemen team, Larry Owens has moved from his Camden County home where officials sought to serve a summons.

They attempted to issue a summons on August 15, however Owens is listed as moved out as of June 1.

The F & M Bank of Hannibal states that Owens and current co-owner Robert Hemond of Sacramento, Ca. owe more than 700 thousand dollars in loans and interest.

UPDATED: November 2 at 9:15 a.m.

A case management conference is set for this Friday, November 4 in a lawsuit between the old owners of the Hannibal Cavemen and F & M Bank in Hannibal.

The bank filed the lawsuit when the former owners of the baseball club defaulted on the loan.

Now the bank is asking for the court to award a judgement of over $700,000 against former co-owner Larry Owens.

In a separate filing, the bank is also seeking judgement against the club for just over two million dollars.

The Hannibal Cavemen players are here and ready to play ball for the 2011 season!

Despite an ongoing legal battle between the team's owners, the Hannibal Cavemen baseball team will kick off their 20-11 season Thursday night.

We caught up with players and coaches during practice Wednesday morning.

They say from the turf to the tickets are ready for another exciting season.

Mark Sappington, Cavemen pitcher said, "We're going to show this town a good time. Everyone's is going to want to be here."

Jay Hemond, Baseball manager said, "The players are an attraction themselves. I can't think of anywhere else I'd like to be. That's why I'm here for a third year."

The Cavemen kicks off the season with a home opener at 6:35 p.m.
