2 to 6 inches of rain fell Thursday morning across Missouri, Illinois and Iowa.

Flash Flooding was a problem on rural roads, prompting authorities to close some roads in northeast Missouri.

The National Weather Service is reporting flooding across the area.  There is now a Flood Warning that will replace the flash flood warnings that were in effect.

All the rain was not good for our local farmers.

We spoke with Mike Roegge, crop specialist with the University of Illinois Extension Office, he said beans are still needing to be planted.  More then 30% of beans are not planted and should have been done 2 weeks ago.

Warm, sunny weather is needed to dry out the soil for planting to continue.

Dry conditions are also need for hay.
