Parents accused of leaving kids on side of road

ADAMS COUNTY, ILL. -- A Camp Point woman and her husband were arrested for leaving their kids on the side of the road early Monday morning.

Police say the mom got into an argument with her daughter who was driving the car.  She forced the girl and another child out of the vehicle near 54th and Locust in Quincy.

Police found the children and arrested the parents who were at home in Camp Point.

Sue and Michael Bence were arrested for child endangerment.  Sue Bence faces several other charges including domestic battery and DUI.

She is now in the Adams County Jail.  Michael Bence posted bond.
