LA BELLE, MISSOURI -- UPDATED: June 13 at 10:15 a.m.
Lewis County Sheriff's arrested Joseph Chatfield of 208 Main St. in La Belle, Missouri. Chatfield is charged with 1st Degree Domestic Assault.
Chatfield is accused of shooting a rifle at a family member. He is in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 cash only bond.

A man is in custody after firing shots at a woman in La Belle, Missouri Saturday afternoon.
The Lewis County Sheriff's department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a mobile home park shortly after 6 p.m.
An altercation between the suspect and a bystander led to the shooter firing his weapon.
Sometime later, the suspect turned himself in and was arrested on site by a Lewis County sheriff's deputy.
No one was injured in the shooting.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the shooting.
