QUINCY, ILL -- Ameren Illinois crews are working to bring back power to the last few homes in the Quincy area Saturday tonight.

Earlier in the day, close to a thousand homes were listed without power on Ameren's outage map.

Strong winds caused entire trees to uproot, downing several power lines in the area of York and 18th Street in Quincy. Crews were on scene getting power back to those surrounding homes.

No major damage or injuries have been reported.
