TRI-STATE AREA -- Eastern Kansas and eastern Nebraska were really torn up by destructive storms and violent tornadoes Monday evening.
The storms, now much weaker yet still dangerous, are approaching Kansas City.
On Tuesday afternoon and evening, the Tri-States will be threatened by a new line of severe storms that will fire ahead of a persistent cold front.
I think the easternmost part of the region, like Jacksonville, Beardstown, and Winchester, will have the greatest risk for large hail, damaging winds, and possible tornadoes.
