Quincy fire started in kids bedroom

QUINCY, ILL. -- A fire Wednesday morning in Quincy started in the kids bedroom.

The fire started around 7:30 on the second story of the Trace Apartments at 3100 State Street.

Crews contained the fire to the bedroom.

12 units in the complex were evacuated but no one was hurt.

No word on what caused the fire.
