Latest local news, weather and high school sports for Tri-State area

QUINCY, ILL -- Since August of last year the Quincy Public Library has been under construction. 

Now with the new addition almost completed there is a new entrance to the library and more space for you.

Study rooms and conference rooms are available as well as a Friends of the Library bookstore.

Since the new addition has been added, more then 900 kids attend each week for the kids activities.

Phase 2 of the project will be completed in mid September which will include the children's area.
