QUINCY, ILL. -- You have a chance to enjoy the arts in downtown Quincy this weekend.

The Midsummer Arts Faire is Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Washington Park.

The Quincy Humane Society is hosting an art sale benefit from 5 to 8 p.m. June 24 inside District Designs at Kristopher's on Maine Street.

There will be a wide variety of art available for you to buy, animal-themed and otherwise.

Luckycat Vegas, the famed cat of Second String Music, will make an appearance to auction off a guitar that was specially painted for the event.

Lindsey Klobe with the Quincy Humane Society said, "This is all going to go toward the Quincy Humane Society."

You'll be able to enjoy wine, cheese and appetizers, and pick up some commemorative wine glasses.
