WASHINGTON D.C. -- Quincy native Derek Jennings receives his Purple Heart medal for being hurt in Afghanistan.
A ceremony is planned at Walter Reed Army Medical Center where Sgt. Jennings recovered once he came back to the states.
This is one of the last such ceremonies at Walter Reed.
