HANNIBAL, MO. -- Team KHQA took to the mud pits to help kick off the 32nd anniversary of the Mud Volleyball tournament at National Tom Sawyer Days in Hannibal Thursday night ... taking home the trophy in the Media Division.

Events began on Thursday, June 30th with the Mud Volleyball Tournament, carnival and teen night.

Although it was really hot outside, people came out in droves to take in the excitement.

Among many other activities the National Tom Sawyer Days will include an annual fence painting competition, a washers tournament and a frog jump contest.

The carnival will be located on Broadway from Main to 4th.
