Two search warrants served at the same time

The West Central Illinois Task force arrested 6 Quincy residents Thursday night after serving search warrants on two homes on Jefferson Street in Quincy.
QUINCY, ILL. --
When officers entered 606 Jefferson they found an active meth lab in an upstairs room.

They also found liquid meth, meth making materials and bags of meth waste.

The second search warrant was for 630 Jefferson where officers found finished meth and meth precursors.

Taken into custody were:
Jason Knuff, Richard Lewis, Shawn Steele,Reaven Johnson, Paige Akers and Jeffery Garrett.

The Quincy police and the Adams County sheriff's department also assisted with the arrest.
