Drug deal goes bad for Quncy resident

Suspect tried to run away

The break up of a suspected drug deal has led to the arrest of Quincy man Sunday night.
QUINCY, ILL. --
The Quincy Street Crimes unit saw what looked like a drug deal going on involving Quincy resident Anthony Bucker, in the 800 block of North 5th.

Buckner attempted to run away but was caught quickly.

Officers found what they thought was meth on him as well as a large amount of US currency.

Buckner was also wanted for an assault 2 weeks ago.

He's in the Adams County Jail facing charges of  possession of meth with the intent to deliver and resisting arrest.
