Vehicle-train accident Hannibal, Mo.

HANNIBAL, MO. -- UPDATE: July 29 at 2:30 p.m.

KHQA's Lindsey Boetsch is at the scene.

There are reports that the truck was headed south on county road 433.

The driver of the truck, Thomas Rickey, pulled up too far at the intersection and was struck by a westbound train.  He was thrown from the truck at impact.

Thomas was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.

There are no gates or lights at that intersection.

KHQA's news crew is on the way to a vehicle vs. train accident on County Road 433 just south of County Road 422 in Hannibal, Mo.

It is believed one person was thrown from the vehicle as a result of the accident.

Marion County emergency crews are on the scene.

It is also believed the accident took place at or near a RR crossing.
