HANNIBAL, MO. -- The Hannibal Park District hopes the installation of surveillance cameras in Riverview Park will help deter vandalism in the historic park.

Earlier this month, someone set fire to the park's restrooms.

The facilities were destroyed in the fire, which was labeled suspicious by the Hannibal Fire Department.

Hannibal Parks Director Andy Dorian says he expects new bathrooms to be up and going next spring with security cameras.
