Fatal fire in Louisiana, Missouri

LOUISIANA, MO. -- A fire in Louisiana, Missouri claimed the life of one person Thursday.

KHQA confirmed with Louisiana Fire Chief Mike Lesley that one person died in the fire.

The call came in at 10:14 a.m. Thursday for a house fire on North 3rd street.

30 firefighters from three different departments responded to a fully engulfed home.

Crews were on scene until after 4:30 p.m.

One other person was sent to the hospital.

The investigation has been turned over to the Missouri State Fire Marshall and no other details have been released at this time.
