ADAIR, ILL. -- Updated: August 13, at 10:30 a.m.

McDonough County authorities have confirmed a search and rescue team found the man safe and well early Saturday morning. Eldon Dilsworth, 78, was found walking around in a cornfield just south of his home around 1:15 a.m.

McDonough and Adams County emergency crews are looking for a 78 year-old male with Alzheimers who wandered away from his home last night.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a tan and white shirt. He went missing from 22915 N. 1050th Street in Adair, Ill.
