QUINCY, ILL. -- Corn yields are not good and now soybeans are taking a beating with little to no rain the past 6 weeks.

Last Friday, August 12th, the rain showers did not amount to much and with 16 days remaining in the month, its getting critical.

Farmers are hoping for some decent rainfall in the next 2 weeks to fill the soybean pods.

There are 2 chances for rain this week but it needs to be enough rain to give these crops a good drink!

With out rain soybean yields will be down too.
