Officers from the Quincy Police Department were called to 1931 Chestnut, Apt. B Tuesday night to investigate a reported domestic dispute.

Upon their arrival, a white male, later identified as Robert Clement, fled from the officers into the residence.

Officers pursued Clement into the apartment and found that he had barricaded himself in a bedroom.  As they attempted to contact Clement he broke out a second story window and escaped from the building.

Clement fled on foot through the Quincy University Campus and additional officers responded to the area.

During the chase, Clement entered an occupied residence and ran into the basement.

Officers surrounded the house and eventually found Clement hiding in a dirt crawl space in the basement.

Clement was arrested for Resisting/Obstructing a Police Officer and was lodged in the Adam's County Jail.
