COLUMBIA, MO. (AP) -- The long trial of the Harvey family has finally come to a close.

Our sister station KRCG reports that Angela Harvey, the last member of the Laddonia, Missouri family to stand trial, pled guilty in her case Monday. She was charged with second degree murder and other charges. The judge in the case sentenced her to life in prison.

She and her family have all been convicted of killing an Ohio drifter in 2009.

Her husband Chester Harvey and three sons, Chad, Ethan and Jordan Harvey are also serving various sentences for the crime.

Chester Harvey, an eastern Missouri truck driver charged in the killing of an Ohio drifter had already been sentenced to life in prison without parole. Click here to read that story.

Harvey was sentenced in Boone County Circuit Court after admitting he was "totally responsible" for killing 20-year-old James William Boyd McNeely.

McNeely's frozen corpse was found in December 2009 in the refrigerated compartment of Chester Harvey's parked tractor trailer east of Vandalia. The discovery of the body was followed by an 18-hour standoff, click here to read that story.

C.J. Harvey's oldest son, Chad Harvey, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, kidnapping and abandonment of a corpse.

Chester Harvey has said previously that he became embroiled in a drug plot with McNeely and that the drifter hurt his family.
