Quincy bank moving to a new location

Bank of Springfield moving downtown

QUINCY,ILL. -- The Bank of Springfield is moving to a new home in Quincy.

On Tuesday night the Zoning Board of Appeals gave the bank approval to move to 1111 Main from its current location at 1828 Broadway.

A one-story extension built to the Main Street right-of-way will be removed.

Since off-street parking is not allowed in front of any downtown building, bank customers will use the parking lot at 1115 Maine.
